Privacy Policy

Last updated 6 September 2026

This site is run by WUD Digital, based in Edinburgh. WUD Digital is the data controller for personal information collected through this site. Below is exactly what it collects and why. If anything here is unclear, email hello@wuddigital.co.uk and ask.

When you get in touch

If you send an enquiry or book a process audit, we receive what you typed — typically your name, email address, company and a description of the problem you want solved. We use it to reply and to prepare for the conversation. We do not sell it, pass it to advertisers, or add you to a marketing list.

A successfully delivered enquiry is not kept in our website database. It arrives by email and stays in our inbox for as long as it is reasonably needed for the conversation, any work that follows and our legal or record-keeping obligations. If email delivery fails, the form service keeps a recovery copy for no more than 30 days so the enquiry is not lost, then deletes it. If you would like your enquiry deleted sooner, just ask.

Why we can use this information

We process enquiry details because it is in our legitimate interests to answer people who contact us, understand what help they need and keep an appropriate record of business conversations. You are not legally or contractually required to provide this information, but we cannot reply without a name, email address and message.

Cookies

Our analytics tools set no cookies, which is why there is no analytics cookie banner. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no Facebook tracking and nothing that follows you to other websites.

Measuring how the site is used

We count visits so we know whether the site is doing its job — which pages get looked at, how far down them people read, and which links and buttons get used. Two things do the counting: Cloudflare Web Analytics, run by our hosting provider, and TrafficWisp, our own analytics product.

None of it identifies you. No name, no IP address, no cookie, and nothing that follows you to other websites. To group the pages of one visit together it keeps a random number in your browser’s session storage, which disappears the moment you close the tab. Cloudflare and TrafficWisp process this anonymous usage information on our behalf. It is counting, not tracking.

Services that help run this site

Cloudflare hosts and protects the site and provides privacy-first web analytics. TrafficWisp provides anonymous site-use analytics. Supabase runs the enquiry handler, Resend delivers enquiry emails, and our email provider stores the resulting correspondence. These providers process information only to provide their services to us. Some may process information outside the UK; where that happens, applicable data-protection safeguards are used for the transfer.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, restrict how it is used or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email hello@wuddigital.co.uk and we will action it within one month. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK’s data protection regulator (ico.org.uk) — though we’d far rather you came to us first so we can put it right.
